Amagi introduces on-demand video delivery solution for content owners
Amagi has introduced its content management solution for the content owners that enables them to smoothly deliver on-demand video requests on its platform.
The product — Amagi On-Demand — uses cloud automation to make every stage of the online content lifecycle — ingestion, transcoding, and delivery to multiple platforms including OTT and TV — simple for the user.
Amagi on-demand is being positioned as a product in the market that offers an ‘ingest-once-for-multiple-deliveries’ option to content owners. Once a content asset is ingested on this product, it can be stored and normalised for any number of deliveries in the future, considerably reducing the time taken to bring video-on-demand (VOD) content assets for viewing, as per the company’s claims.
