Dell rolls out Alienware’s X15 R2, X17 R2 gaming laptops in India

Dell Technologies has introduced Alienware X15 R2 and X17 R2 gaming laptops in India. The Alienware X15 comes with a 15-inch display and the X17 R2 comes with a 17-inch display. The newly launched products are equipped with the Cryo-TechTM cooling technology, which the company claims enhance airflow and boost performance for hi-performance gaming. The price of Alienware X15 R2 is ₹249,990 and the X17 R2 model is available at ₹2,99,990 in India.  

The products have Intel’s latest 12th Gen processor. For a better experience, the Alienware X17 comes with the CherryMX mechanical keyboard, customisable AlienFX lighting (in the Legend 2.0 evolutionary design) as well as an upgradable DDR5 memory, as per the company’s claims.

Meanwhile, Dell claims that the Alienware laptops are crafted with a more youthful essence and gentler edges, offering universal appeal to all gamers. It also asserted that the X-Series provides a ‘premium excellence’ ideal for ‘professional creators’ who also love to game. The dark core replaces the previously light interior, reducing screen reflections on the keyboard and delivering distraction-free gaming. Moreover, a low halo keyboard illuminates only the letters on the keys so users can focus on the game, as per the company’s claims.
