Persistent attains Infrastructure Services Specialization by Google Cloud
Persistent Systems has announced that it has got the recognition of ‘Infrastructure Services Specialization’ by Google Cloud. The Pune-based firm claims that this ‘Specialization’ status will enable it to assist its clients to meet their digital transformation goals with Google Cloud and will also lead to a closer alignment around advanced training, go-to-market, and technical collaboration.
‘Specialization’ is the highest technical designation a Google Cloud partner can earn and requires an established Google Cloud practice, client success, and proven technical capabilities, as endorsed by the search giant, the company said in a statement.
Some of the benefits derived after the recognition are technical enablement, financial incentives, competitive pricing, training, and certifications to help accelerate Google Cloud-led modernisation for clients.
Ajai Kumar, Senior Vice President for Partner Ecosystem, Persistent Systems, avers, “Persistent continues to build an exceptional partner ecosystem to help our clients transform their businesses, and working closely with the leading cloud providers, like Google, is a critical part of this strategy. With Infrastructure Services Specialization, Persistent has successfully demonstrated proficiency and client success in meeting enterprise modernisation needs using Google Cloud.”
Being part of the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program, Persistent maintains that it has the certified experience to deliver Google Cloud solutions to clients.
Amitabh Jacob, Head of Partners and Alliances, Google Cloud, said, “Persistent is a valued Google Cloud partner. This achievement is a reflection of their strong, continued commitment to technology excellence and driving real business value for our customers with Google Cloud.”
Persistent Systems was recently in the news for entering into an agreement to buy Data Glove for $90.50 million. The acquisition is expected to be completed within 4-5 weeks. Persistent plans to leverage this acquisition to enhance its partnership with Microsoft, strengthen expertise in Azure-based digital transformation and other offerings in the Microsoft stack, as well as expand its geographic footprint and talent pool.
