UiPath ties up with Coursera to provide courses on automation skills
UiPath, today, announced a partnership with EdTech major Coursera to offer courses on automation to over 92 million learners registered on the latter’s platform. The offerings including free courses, professional certificates, and full collegiate degrees from leading universities.
"The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialization and Step into RPA courses from UiPath on Coursera build comprehensive knowledge and professional-level skills in developing and deploying UiPath software robots," the company said in its announcement.
The enterprise automation company claims that this partnership will democratize training in automation and augment employees, students, and professionals' skills. “Democratizing access to technical skills around automation is a core value proposition at UiPath, and anyone can prepare to enter the automation field or advance their careers through this specialization. Our automation courses and professional certificate on Coursera will help narrow the skills gap in an automation-first world," said Tom Clancy, Senior Vice President of Learning at UiPath.
UiPath had earlier allied with ICT Academy to bring automation into the curriculum of over 1,000 institutions. The partnership aims enhance the literacy on automation among teachers, administrative staff and students of the institutions.

Coursera had also partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has partnered with ed-tech platform to offer two new certification programs that will offer higher overall employability in the field of digital transformation and EVs.
