Mahindra ties up with SAP to boost cloud shift

Mahindra & Mahindra said it has partnered with SAP India to boost its digital transformation. 

Under the pact, SAP will facilitate M&M to switch to a secure and managed cloud environment, while moving to a ‘microservices’ enabled open stack environment through its business technology platform. 

Mahindra said that the cloud transformation will benefit the automaker in faster bottom-line development, more business function productivity and a lower risk of non-compliance. 

Mohit Kapoor, group chief technology officer, Mahindra & Mahindra, believes that the cloud shift will change the company’s digital ecosystem with higher levels of intelligence and automation. 

“SAP on cloud adopts business transformation as a service approach that aligns with our ambitious digital roadmap of reimagining customer journeys by transforming the core and using data-artificial intelligence for driving customer and employee experience,” he said.

On similar lines, bike taxi platform Rapido has chosen Google Cloud and Searce to modernize its digital infrastructure and build a robust data platform to enable rapid access to riders.
