Microsoft India unveils its thinnest Surface device
Dubbed as the thinnest device in the Surface portfolio, Microsoft has rolled out its Surface Pro X in India with the price ranging from Rs 93,999 to Rs 150,499. It comes with Windows 11, an eight-core processor, a high-resolution display and a stylus.
The company claims that the Surface Pro X is powered by eight-core Microsoft SQ1/SQ2 processors, along with an 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4x RAM as well as a removable solid state drive (SSD) options of 128 GB, 256GB and 512GB.
Microsoft further claimed that the product is the “ultimate mobility” for working and connecting without an office, browsing, sketching on-screen and streaming Netflix.
It is available either via the company’s authorised resellers or Reliance Digital.
The Surface X Pro sports a 13-inch ‘PixelSense’ display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 10-point multi-touch support. It also has two USB Type-C ports, Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless Technology, Wi-Fi support, the company said in a statement.The company also claims that it has up to 15 hours battery life on a single charge.
“This new model brings together the thin, sleek design associated with the Pro X along with all-day battery life to its most affordable entry price point yet, providing more flexible options to our customers,” said Bhaskar Basu, Country Head – Devices (Surface), Microsoft India.
The Surface X Pro has a built-in 5.0MP front-facing camera with a 1080p resolution. It also has the dual far-field studio mics (microphones) and optimised speakers for video calls. The device also includes two USB-C ports and dedicated magnetic Surflink (with an extra USB-A), Microsoft added.
