Eros Now allies with Global Networks to widen reach
Eros Now has announced its association with Global Networks Infocom Pvt Ltd (GNI) to widen its reach in India. With this partnership, customers of GNI will be able to access Eros Now’s movie library with over 12,000 digital titles as well as premium episodic series and music videos etc.
Harshal Dalal, Director Globenet, said, “Through this partnership, we aim to create a holistic digital ecosystem and offer unlimited entertainment with bundled services to our customers.”
As per a report, Netflix and Amazon’s Prime Video had a 20% marketshare of the video over-the-top (OTT) market in the financial year 2020. Due to the countrywide lockdown and work from home situation during Covid-19, the share of viewers using OTT platforms to consume media and entertainment have gone up manifold.

Furthermore, RBSA Advisors claim that India’s over-the-top (OTT) streaming industry, including video and audio, has the potential to touch $15 billion by 2030.
As Manpreet Bumrah, Senior Vice President Eros Now and Business Head Tech zone, said, “People are more inclined towards watching new content online as they spend more time at home. With our partnerships with service providers, we are looking at benefitting these consumers by offering a plethora of content and expanding our national reach.”
Following the tie up, Globenet will bundle Eros Now’s yearly subscription packs along with their products and services and distribute it to its premium customer base nationally, the company said in a statement.
