Tata Tele Services launches P2P solution for cloud communications sans internet

Information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider Tata Tele Business Services, has launched a point-to-point (P2P) cloud connectivity gateway solution.

The EZ Cloud Connect solution will help enterprises to bypass the internet and deliver data to and from the cloud service provider via a dedicated private network solution.

By having direct connectivity, the solution is expected to provide a consistent network with greater bandwidth, while seeing a reduction in capital and operational expenses.

EZ cloud connect will  help with leased line connectivity, and a cloud port bundled as a single product offering, this is expected to help enterprises with the effort to deal with multiple service providers.

“As modern businesses are getting more digitally agile with cloud-first approach, they require seamless cloud connectivity and integration to securely and efficiently run their critical data applications,” Vishal Rally, senior vice-president, Product and Commercial, Tata Teleservices, said.

The solution will be compatible with major cloud service providers at multiple locations in the country. The use cases will be beneficial for hybrid solution deployments, real time applications and high data transfers.

Tata Tele will target the IT, BFSI Manufacturing and healthcare systems with the new offering.  

The solution will work in tandem with Tata Tele Services’ Smartflo solution, a cloud communication suite and SmartOffice, a one-box start-up kit with apps for voice, data and storage.

Tata Tele Services has also recently partnered with Zoom video communications to offer unified communications solutions.

“All these solutions address the needs of a distributed and remote working environment and enable customers to maintain business continuity,” the company said.
