Birlasoft, Freshworks tie up to power CX, digital transformation journeys
Pune based information technology firm Birlasoft and homegrown software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup Freshworks entered into a partnership to go-to-market together.
Part of the $2.4 billion diversified CK Birla Group, Birlasoft will partner with Freshworks to provide businesses with products for customer and employee retention, as per a joint statement on Wednesday.
The partnership, the statement said, is aimed at helping enterprises provide enhanced customer experience management services to customers through new-age digital transformation solutions.
“The past few years have seen enterprises put a premium on their digital transformation plans, considering the speed of digital adoption within the business ecosystem and the ROI it can deliver for enterprises,” Ashutosh Mankar, vice president, Infrastructure and Cloud Technology Services, Birlasoft, said.
The strategic partnership with Freshworks will provide enterprise customers with revamped customer experiences, stronger relationship management, to reap benefits from agile digital transformation programmes, Mankar added.
Founded in 2010 by Mathrubootham and Shan Krishnasamy in Chennai, Freshworks is now headquartered in San Mateo, California. It operates from 13 global locations to serve over 50,000 customers including Bridgestone, Chargebee, DeliveryHero, ITV, Klarna, Multichoice, OfficeMax, TaylorMade and Vice Media.
Late last month, the unicorn filed for an initial public offering worth $100 million with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
