HCL rolls out AI based digital workplace solution to cater to hybrid work environments
Noida-based IT major HCL technologies has launched a digital workplace solution, called the ‘AI-Driven and Automation-Powered Employee Experience’ (AEX), to cater to the hybrid work culture that is predicted to be the future of work.
The AEX solution, now generally available, is a part of the DRYICE suite, which is HCL’s AI wing, focused on solutions around autonomics and orchestration products.
In the early stages of the pandemic, companies deployed a suite of solutions to quickly adapt to the work from home atmosphere.
HCL said that most of these solutions addressed only a part of the workplace issue and required significant integration and customisation.
Some of the features of AEX includes proactive monitoring, personalised anytime support, along with a pre-emptive resolve system to solve application issues.
The IT and business service requests are simplified through a unified enterprise digital marketplace and a virtual assistant backed by natural language processing.
The solution will consist of 50 use cases, along with pre-configured IT and business catalogues.
Additionally, HCL said that it will have the flexibility to customise use cases on the go and will be able to integrate with standard service management tools.
The AEX solution will look to cater to the permanent hybrid work environment and is marketed as a long-term workplace solution to handle IT complexity and spiralling operational costs.
The solution will consist of proprietary technology built by HCL which is backed by 10 years of research and development, the company said.
