Watch: Ace Turtle CEO Nitin Chhabra on accelerating the digital transformation of the retail sector
Bengaluru based Ace Turtle, an integrated technology platform for online and offline retail companies, recently partnered with Mankind Pharma to accelerate the drug maker’s omnichannel presence. With its proprietary platform Rubicon, Ace Turtle integrates online and offline retail channels, claiming to enhance efficiency and scalability through an omnichannel transformation by use of data.
Rubicon is used by large global brands as a SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform and is also leveraged by Ace Turtle for its licensed brands portfolio. Its licensed brands portfolio includes long-term licenses for global brands Lee, Wrangler, Toys”R”Us, and Babies”R”Us.
With offices located in India and Singapore, Ace Turtle is backed by investors such as Singapore based Vertex Ventures, the venture capital arm of Temasek Holdings and C31 Ventures, the venture capital arm of CapitaLand.
Last month, Flipkart Group’s wholesale entity and Ace Turtle jointly secured licensing rights for Toys“R”Us (TRU) and Babies“R”Us (BRU) in India. The rights involve a strategic arrangement with WHP Global, the controlling shareholder of Toys“R”Us.
Ace Turtle was founded in 2013 by Nitin Chhabra and Berry Singh.
In an interview with TechCircle, Chhabra spoke about the challenges in the digital transformation journey during the pandemic, their omnichannel offering and growth projections.
Prior to Ace Turtle, Chhabra was the CEO of Iconix Brand Group, a licensing and brand management company in fashion and lifestyle.
