In Brief: XpressBees, SpiceXpress partner; Meesho waives commission to court more MSMEs
Pune headquartered logistics company XpressBees on Monday said that it has entered into a strategic partnership with cargo airline SpiceXpress. Under the agreement, a statement said, XpressBees will get exclusive rights to SpiceXpress’ D2D (door-to-door) service for 27 tier-3 and tier-4 locations. The move would boost XpressBees’ first mile and last mile capabilities in the interiors of the country.
Meesho introduces 0% commission for sellers
Fashnear Technologies, the startup that owns social marketplace Meesho, has introduced a zero percent commission program to onboard more micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs). The move, Meesho said, allows sellers to keep 100% profits to themselves and adds to the offerings it already offers to help businesses go online. The platform has seen a 25% increase in the number of sellers and manufacturers joining in since the launch of the program. It aims to help 100 million MSMEs shift to digital sales.
Flipkart targets 2x growth for Pay Later
Ecommerce giant Flipkart is looking at a 2x growth of its Pay Later offering over the next six month. The 30-day interest-free credit product currently stands as one of the top prepaid payment options on Flipkart’s platform with over 2.8 million customers and more than 42 million transactions. It remains on track to cross 100 million transactions by the end of this year, the Walmart-owned company said, noting that the number of registered Pay Later users has grown by over 50% since last year.
Schneider Electric unveils mySchneider self-service portal
Schneider Electric has announced the unveiling of mySchneider, a personalized digital experience for customers and partners logged in on its website se.com. The self-service portal, according to a statement, provides access to all the information and support needed by customers/partners, including real-time price and availability, quote and order entry, and the status of the shipment. It brings together Schneider’s businesses services, online tools, and resources to one location with single sign-on facility, the statement added.
