Animall raises $14 mn Series B from new and existing investors
Animall Technologies, a Bengaluru based startup that operates an online platform for buying and selling dairy and cattle, has raised Rs 102.62 crore in a Series B funding round from new and existing investors.
The company’s board has passed a resolution to allot 50,345 Series B preference shares and 20 equity shares at an issue price of Rs 20,375.71 per share to raise Rs 102.62 crore ($13.85 million), according to regulatory filings.
Nexus Venture Partners and SAI Global India Fund led the round by investing Rs 46.74 crore ($6 million) and Rs 26.3 crore ($3.5 million) respectively.
The round also saw participation from WEH Ventures, Omnivore, Beenext, Rocketship and individual investors such as Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal, Delhivery founder Sahil Barua, Vidit Attrey, Sanjeev Kumar and Mohit Kumar.
In November 2020, Animall raised Rs 44.49 crore (around $6 million) for its pre-Series A led by Sequoia Capital India along with Omnivore and LetsVenture Angel Fund.

Founded in December 2019 by Neetu Yadav and Libin V Babu, the company raised Rs 5.65 crore in May 2020 as part of a seed round led by Beenext Emerging Asia. Other investors in the round included WEH Ventures as well as angel investors Anupam Mittal and Abhishek Kejriwal among others.
Animall provides a platform for farmers to buy and sell their cattle and livestock. The startup also addresses queries on animal health addressed by veterinarians.
