Capgemini, Dassault Systèmes expand partnership to power clients’ digital journeys
French Information Technology (IT) services and consulting firm Capgemini has announced acceleration of its alliance partnership with 3D design engineering software company, Dassault Systèmes.
The partnership will combine Capgemini’s deep sector, technology and data experience with Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to drive digital transformation of clients.
With the tie-up, the companies will be able to support enterprise clients with capabilities in digital engineering lifecycle management which is an extension of product lifecycle management, model based system engineering supporting multi-discipline collaboration, manufacturing operations management to establish enterprise-wide system of record, advanced analytics and advanced planning and scheduling to address complex logistics and workforce challenges.
“By combining Capgemini’s digital transformation and deep sector experience with Dassault Systèmes’ data-centric platform and portfolio of software products, we are helping our clients to fully tap into the huge data potential to accelerate their time-to-market, optimize their operations performance, and create new revenue streams around new services and data monetization,” Roshan Gya, managing director, Intelligent Industry at Capgemini Invent said in a statement issued by the company.
Capgemini recently deployed a new 5G enabling solution with the help of Ericsson to cater to Smart Cities, Smart Factory, Smart Utilities and Smart Retail. Earlier this year the company consolidated its engineering and R&D capabilities under the umbrella brand Capgemini Engineering.
