LTTS, Mavenir partner for 5G test automation
Pure-play engineering services firm L&T Technology Services (LTTS) on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with American network software provider Mavenir.
Under the agreement, a statement said, LTTS will work with Mavenir to deliver end-to-end 5G test automation services and support the firm’s cloud-native product roadmap, driving an increased market share in the 5G telecom landscape.
Mavenir cloud-native software runs on any cloud.
The automation services provided would include continuous integration/continuous delivery automation of 5G ORAN portfolio of RU/DU/CU (radio unit/distributed unit/central unit) products with cloud native 5G core network solutions -- for global frequency bands supporting TDD and FDD technology.

“5G ORAN solutions are disrupting conventional approaches to network services delivery for people and objects across industry verticals. This partnership enables both companies to drive the solutions and serve the global demand for connectivity and enriched services,” Amit Chadha, CEO and managing director at LTTS, said in the statement.
LTTS said it will deliver services from its Bengaluru premises. The engagement enables a unique opportunity for co-creation and contributes to a joint go-to-market strategy driving innovation in the 5G space towards CSPs and Enterprises, it added.
Founded in 2012, the engineering services company is a subsidiary of the $21 billion revenue-clocking Indian conglomerate Larsen & Toubro, with a rich heritage in delivering telecom engineering products.
