TechThisWeek: Whatfix executive Kapil Jaiswal on deploying capital post its latest fundraise

In the latest episode of TechThisWeek, TechCircle spoke to Kapil Jaiswal, vice president-product, at Whatfix, on the $90 million raised by the SaaS company in a round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and how its plans to deploy the capital.  

In a busy dealmaking week for technology startups, Zenoti raised $80 million as part of its Series D funding round led by global private equity firm TPG and GoMechanic raised $34 million as part of its Series C round led by Tiger Global Management.  

In other news, on Thursday, online ticketing platform BookMyShow co-founder and CEO Ashish Hemrajani took to Twitter to announce layoffs of 200 employees as part of cost cutting measures due to Covid-19.
