Mindtree gets application development specialisation from Google Cloud
Information technology (IT) services company Mindtree on Monday said it has received application development partner specialisation from Google Cloud.
The specialisation, a statement said, boosts the Bengaluru headquartered firm’s ability to build solutions and drive digitalisation -- right from cloud migration to application usage and modernisation -- using the Google Cloud technology.
Mindtree, currently a premier Google Cloud partner, offers cloud services, including big data services, migration and transformation, implementation of SAP, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning services. It helps customers with architecture, design, and builds solutions or platforms that can deliver faster, resilient, and reliable systems with a quicker time to market.
Radhakrishnan Rajagopalan, global head of customer success, data and intelligence, at Mindtree, said, “This recognition instils further confidence in enterprises seeking to migrate their legacy applications and workloads onto Google Cloud that Mindtree can effectively help an organisation drive their cloud adoption initiatives forward.”
The specialisation has been given under Google’s Cloud Partner Advantage Program, an initiative started by the technology giant to ensure that organisations migrating to its cloud infrastructure get access to qualified partners with demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in specialised solution and service areas.
The development comes just a couple of months after Mindtree partnered with AI company DataBricks and launched a go-to-market business unit in collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate its cloud services strategy.
For the third quarter ended December 2020, the company posted a 65.7% increase in profits to Rs 326.5 crore, on the back of strong demand for cloud, data and analytics capabilities.
