Bobble AI to help HCL offer customer engagement solutions to banking clients
Information technology (IT) services major HCL Technologies has partnered with Bobble AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) powered conversation media platform, to offer customer engagement solutions in the open banking space through a plug-n-play white-label keyboard software development kit (SDK).
The Gurugram-based firm’s solution, deployed remotely, will strengthen HCL’s relationship with its banking and insurance clients by helping them develop a 360-degree understanding of their consumers based on smartphone behaviour across 24x7 usage, a statement said.
The keyboard SDK offers core typing functionalities such as auto correct, word predictions, swipe-to-type, speech-to-text and clipboard. In addition to English, these features work efficiently in 36 Indic languages and over 100 International languages, the statement said.
Additionally, the solution can be integrated with a bank’s mobile app to serve as a strategic driver to promote mobile banking services and help banks regain P2P transactions that may be lost to digital wallets and other dedicated solutions.
“Keyboard is essentially the first customer engagement tool for any connected device in today’s world and a relevant and focused integration in the mobile app helps in building quick revenue growth, helps to reduce customer acquisition cost, significantly boosts engagement with the users and more importantly, gives a competitive edge,” Ankit Prasad, CEO and co-founder of Bobble AI said. Prasad founded the company with Mohammed Wassem and Rahul Prasad.
The HCL partnership will enable the startup to engineer an innovative infrastructure of white-label solutions that will help banks and their fintech partner ecosystem create differentiated open banking strategies and implement them, he said.
“Our partnership with Lemon Advisors UK, a global tech advisory firm, is helping us strengthen our activities in the UK and other emerging markets across EU and APAC adding value to our prospective customers’ businesses,” Prasad said.
Global expansion has historically been a part of the nine-year-old startup’s growth strategy. In January 2020, Bobble AI partnered with Lemon Advisors to strengthen its business growth activities in the EU, APAC, and MENA regions. Lemon Advisors UK offers its services in over 38 countries, with a focus on fintech, space-tech and aviation, health, telecoms and media.
In August 2020, digital advertising platform Affle India made an investment in Talent Unlimited Online Services, the parent company of Bobble AI.
Bobble AI, which has raised $9.35 million so far, is backed by Flipkart co-founders Sachin and Binny Bansal, Slideshare co-founder Amit Ranjan, 1mg founders Prashant Tandon and Gaurav Agarwal, and angel investor Venkat Raju.
