Deloitte to acquire software and product development firm HashedIn
New York-based Deloitte Consulting is set to acquire cloud native software engineering and product development boutique HashedIn Technologies to expand its cloud and AI capabilities.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Combining HashedIn’s services with Deloitte's scaled digital, cloud, AI and cyber capabilities is expected to boost the latter’s capacity to design software products and intelligent solutions, a statement said.
“Cloud, one of the most significant technology shifts of our generation and a catalyst for massive disruption, is challenging the fundamentals of most businesses and shaping them for the next decade," Ranjit Bawa, cloud leader at Deloitte Consulting, said.
"Deloitte and HashedIn share a common goal of delivering value to our clients through disruption and innovation. Our clients are at an inflection point — no domain is sacrosanct — as they embrace cloud, AI and agile pod-based delivery principles," he said.
Deloitte will onboard more than 700 employees from HashedIn, the statement said. Additionally, the firms will prioritise training the next generation of cloud and software engineers in the latest technologies, it said.
In August, Deloitte acquired the business and assets of London’s largest SAP technology consultation partner, Keytree, as well as marketing analytics solutions firm Spatial Access.
