SaaS company Kovai acquires Cerebrata to combine offerings
Coimbatore and London-based Kovai, which runs enterprise software and B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Kovai.co, has acquired Udaipur headquartered SaaS provider Cerebrata for an undisclosed amount in an all-cash deal.
While Cerebrata’s Cerulean develops productivity tools to manage Microsoft Azure resources, Kovai’s Serverless360 platform manages and monitors Azure Serverless components. By integrating the two products, Kovai expects to offer an application to manage and monitor Microsoft BizTalk and Azure Serverless environments, a statement said.
The acquisition -- Kovai’s first -- also offers potential cross-selling opportunities, Saravana Kumar, founder and CEO of Kovai.co, said in a statement.
“Due to the complementary nature of both the products, Kovai.co sees a huge potential for cross-selling opportunities between our customer base. We are expecting an additional 15-20% top-line revenue growth for Kovai.co through Cerebrata acquisition,” he said.
“Cerebrata’s Cerulean is a low barrier entry product into an organisation. This further opens an opportunity to showcase the value of Serverless360 for larger teams and cross-sell,” he added.
As part of the deal, Serverless360 will manage the production systems deployed in Microsoft Azure, while Cerulean will help individual developers and IT professionals manage Microsoft Azure deployments, the statement added.
