HCL eyes a foothold in Switzerland with Green Datacenter partnership
Noida headquartered information technology (IT) major HCL on Monday announced a partnership with Green Datacenter, which provides data centre services in Switzerland.
The collaboration will help highly regulated sectors in Switzerland adopt cloud technologies and improve client outcomes. With this move, HCL expects to create a foothold in the DACH region-- Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
Switzerland-based organisations in sectors such as financial services and healthcare will be able to build a robust digital foundation through leveraging public and hybrid cloud solutions. The partnership will additionally enable enterprises to digitalize their processes allowing them to respond quickly and flexibly to new IT challenges, according to a statement.
HCL’s deep domain industry experience, delivery capabilities like DRYiCE automation portfolio with Green’s data center footprint will empower organisations to build next-generation enterprises, the company claimed.
The IT services firm recently reported an 18.5% growth in quarterly profits, in a period when it signed 15 new transformational deals. Europe has been one of the key markets for HCL.
In August, the firm opened a European Cybersecurity Fusion Center (CSFC) in Gothenburg, Sweden. In December last year, it opened two new delivery centres in Lithuania to cater its digital transformation capabilities for clients in the Baltic, Nordic and Benelux regions.
