Quick Heal appoints Cisco veterans to strengthen top team
Pune based information technology (IT) security solutions firm Quick Heal Technologies has appointed Cisco veterans Sanjay Agrawal as the new chief product officer and Bibhuti Kar as the head of research and development.
The company says the expansion of the leadership team is targeted towards the development of enterprise security solutions under the Seqrite brand.
In his new role, Agrawal will be responsible for driving the overall product vision and strategy for Quick Heal while Bibhuti will work towards leading the product development through the company’s engineering teams and security researchers.
Agrawal has over two decades of experience working as the director of engineering at Cisco and previously in the role of vice president of engineering application and security at Bengaluru based zero trust security solutions provider Colortokens. An alumnus of the University of Illinois, Agrawal holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. from the Stanford University in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Head of research and development, Kar is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur with a masters in electrical engineering and computer science. His career included stints with companies such as Cisco, Bell Northern Research and Sophos. Kar started his career with the Defense Research and Development Organization as a project assistant on missile communication systems.
