NoBroker adopts Google Cloud to boost customer experience
Property listing portal NoBroker Technologies Solutions says adopting Google Cloud solutions has helped it enhance the customer experience.
The company, most recently, launched a touchless entry solution which was developed during the pandemic. The solution helps NoBroker use facial recognition developed using Google Cloud artificial intelligence/machine learning technology combined with TensorFlow to ensure the safety of residents and visitors, according to a statement. TensorFlow is an end-to-end open source machine learning platform.
Its cloud vision powered programme uses crowdsourcing to generate 35,000 property listings every month. This means anyone using the NoBroker app can upload a photo of a “to let” or “for sale” board to the platform. Optical character recognition (OCR) feature on Cloud Vision AI extracts the owner’s phone number from the photo and correlates it with listing user information on NoBroker’s MySQL database.
"With this partnership, we have been able to roll out new products faster in both NoBroker and NoBrokerHood apps without worrying about scale, security and compliance” Akhil Gupta, co-founder and CTO at Nobroker said.
Founded in 2013 Gupta, Saurabh Garg and Amit Kumar Agarwal, NoBroker provides solutions for real estate transactions, including rental, sale and purchase of properties. It was one of the first few startups to connect landlords and tenants, without a broker.
In 2019, NoBroker announced plans to expand its platform across major cities in India within three to four years.
The platform also provides allied services such as loans, packers and movers, legal documentation and online rent payment solutions.
In April this year, the platform raised $30 million as part of an $80 million Series D funding round from returning investor General Atlantic.
