Infosys signs €30 mn deal to buy ServiceNow partner GuideVision
Bengaluru-based software services major Infosys on Monday said it has inked a deal to acquire ServiceNow partner GuideVision, an enterprise service management consultancy, for up to €30 million.
The acquisition, set to close in the third quarter of 2021, will augment the IT services firm’s recently launched Cobalt portfolio of cloud services and bolster its nearshore delivery presence in Europe, Infosys said in a stock exchange filing.
Founded in 2014, GuideVision services over 100 enterprise clients with end-to-end offerings that include a proprietary smart data replication tool for ServiceNow, SnowMirror IP.
Prague-based GuideVision operates a training academy and offers nearshore capabilities in Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, and has a presence in Germany and Finland.
The company clocked revenues of €12.9 million in 2019, €10.4 million in 2018 and €6.1 million in 2017, Infosys said in its filing to the stock exchanges.
“... Our recently announced Infosys Cobalt portfolio has a large repository of ServiceNow Industry Cloud solutions like ESM Café, and this will now be bolstered by GuideVision’s SnowMirror suite of Industry templates,” Narsimha Rao Mannepalli, head of cloud and infrastructure at Infosys, said.
Infosys itself has been a ServiceNow partner -- it was recognised by ServiceNow as the 2019 and 2020 ServiceNow Global Service Provider Partner of the Year. Santa Clara, California-based ServiceNow runs cloud computing platforms to help companies manage digital workflows for enterprise operations.
“Joining Infosys brings an extended portfolio of services we can offer to our customers on their digital transformation journey. The global Infosys footprint is an exciting opportunity for both GuideVision customers and employees,” Norbert Nagy, co-founder of GuideVision, said.
