Tech Mahindra launches platform to streamline cloud operations for enterprises
Information technology (IT) services firm Tech Mahindra has launched a cloud operations and subscription management platform for enterprises.
Dubbed iCOPS, the platform will improve efficiency by leveraging artificial intelligence for IT operations and analytics, with data security and cost optimisation across all cloud environments, the Pune-based technology giant said in a statement.
According to Tech Mahindra, the platform will deliver unified management experience across hybrid and multi-cloud operations, with a focus on improving compliance and security for enterprises. The end-to-end platform will help enterprises get the benefits of simplified cloud operations, reduced cloud spends and comprehensive visibility across operations, the company added.
“Our investments in iCOPS platform will enable global enterprises to move towards a zero-touch cloud operations model while ensuring complete security and transparency in operations,” Vivek Gupta, vice president and head of global cloud services at the firm, said.
Tech Mahindra said that the iCOPS platform comprises pre-configured core and integrated software for public cloud operations to provide a unified view across enterprise IT operations. This could be across cloud operations, infrastructure operations or network operations, with zero manual interventions by using DevOps. The company can also automate day-t0-day tasks for zero downtime and problem resolutions, it added.
iCOPS, the IT services major said, can also be merged with Tech Mahindra’s infrastructure operations platform TACTiX, hybrid and multi-cloud management platform mPAC 3.0 and NetOps.ai, which will support enterprises to build a single view across enterprise IT operations, it added.
Late last month, German telecom operator Telefónica Deutschland selected Tech Mahindra to run its network and services operations, apart from developing artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases for their customers.
In July, Tech Mahindra partnered with CyQureX, a London-based cybersecurity solutions provider, to leverage CyQureX’s core Software Defined Perimeter technology and solutions to help clients address the ‘zero trust’ environment.
