SAIF Partners India elevates Mayank Khanduja as managing director
Venture capital firm SAIF Partners India on Wednesday said that it has promoted Mayank Khanduja as its managing director (MD) from principal.
Khanduja has been with SAIF Partners since 2011 and has led SAIF’s investments in social media platform ShareChat, real estate search portal NoBroker and Playsimple Games among others, a statement said.
Prior to the current firm, he served as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, and a summer intern at Citibank.
“Mayank’s success is again a testament of our commitment to nurture our people. We are delighted to have Mayank join the new role at SAIF India,” Ravi Adusumalli, managing partner, SAIF Partners India said in a statement.
Khanduja holds an MBA in strategy and finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
SAIF Partners India provides seed, early and growth-stage capital for emerging companies in India. It is currently investing out of its third India dedicated fund, which is led by managing partner Ravi Adusumalli, along with five managing directors Deepak Gaur, Mukul Arora, Mridul Arora, Alok Goel, and Mayank Khanduja.
The firm has offices in Gurugram and Bengaluru.
Some of the recent investments made by SAIF Partners India include fintech firm Jodo, budget hotel chain Treebo, omnichannel fashion brands FabAlley, and edtech startup FrontRow, among others.
