Watch: HGS CIO N Radhakrishnan on business continuity during and after Covid-19

Hinduja Global Solutions, a Bengaluru headquartered customer experience solutions provider, recently launched business continuity solutions to help its clients remotely manage contact centres even as the Covid-19 induced lockdown battered the economy. 

HGS provides services to companies in the automotive and manufacturing, retail, banking, finance and insurance, healthcare, telecom, consumer electronics as well as travel and hospitality sectors.

In an interview with TechCircle, Natarajan Radhakrishnan, global CIO at Hinduja Global Solutions spoke about how the company dealt with the sudden onslaught of the pandemic and its future business continuity plans.

He said that the company, which was already on the path of automation, is looking at around 50% of its employees working from home for a long time.

At HGS, Radhakrishnan is responsible for managing enterprise information technology and automation, fostering innovation across the organisation and developing new industry-oriented solutions. 

Prior to joining HGS, he was engaged in public-private-partnership initiatives with two Indian state governments in the healthcare and transportation sectors. With 29 years of industry experience, Radhakrishnan has held senior management positions in organisations such as IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant and Deutsche Bank Group.
