LTI launches programme for faster migration of SAP-based enterprises to AWS

Mumbai based information technology (IT) services company Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) has announced a programme where customers who use SAP tools can accelerate their migration from on-premise systems to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud.

The accelerated migration programme will help customers move their SAP ERP (enterprise resource management), SAP 4 HANA, and other SAP workloads to AWS.

The faster migration will help SAP-based enterprises with lowered infrastructure costs, improved agility, better customer experiences and room for more innovation, LTI said.

“Working with AWS will help us digitize the core and bring this expertise to other SAP clients, leveraging our highly automated approach,” Siddharth Bohra, chief business officer, tech, media, consumer and head of digital and analytics, LTI said.

LTI said that the programme will offer three different modules -- discovery, build and deployment and validation -- to enterprises across industries. Some other add-on components that can make the migration faster include SAP profiler, analyzer for SAP S/4 HANA, compliance components, as well as security and smart testing modules. 

The company will also offer a vast repository of test scenarios and test cases that could help customers make the transition easier. LTI is a subsidiary of engineering giant Larsen & Toubro.

LTI became an advanced consulting partner with the AWS partner network (APN) in 2017. It has achieved the AWS SAP competency status, which certifies the company for successfully migrating SAP environments to AWS.
