Synechron partners with Google to expand cloud offering
Digital consulting firm Synechron has inked a partnership with Google Cloud to provide cloud-based solutions to financial services clients.
Under the partnership, the information technology (IT) company will work with Google Cloud to build its global centre of excellence (COE), a joint statement said.
Further, New York and Pune-based company will provide cloud-based solution architecture and operating models to support the migration of legacy processes as well as establishing the cloud for new business activities for its clients.
Customers will be able to create an application landing zone with Synechron’s cloud migration expertise and managed services framework.
Synechron’s Google CoE will consist of cloud architects, data engineers, and developers who have designed and developed enterprise-grade, cloud-hosted solutions, the statement added.
The IT firm is also working with Google Cloud on live engagements across the UK, the Netherlands and the Asia Pacific.
Synechron, established in 2001, is an IT and consulting company focused on the financial services industry including capital markets, insurance, banking and digital.The company has 18 offices around the globe, with over 8,000 employees.
Last year in August, Synechron opened its new office in Bengaluru. In June, it tied up with Bengaluru-based enterprise training company SpringPeople for upskilling and reskilling its workforce.
