KFC Canada signs on Manthan for digital transformation journey
Popular food chain KFC has signed on Bengaluru based artificial intelligence and analytics solutions provider Manthan to power its Canada unit’s digital transformation journey.
KFC, a subsidiary of Louisville, Kentucky based Yum! Brands has over 600 restaurants in Canada. Manthan will deploy its software-as-a-service (SaaS) based restaurant analytics solution for the restaurant chain, which will be used to centralize data across functions.

“The restaurant industry is embracing data and analytics in a big way to create innovative customer experiences and optimize every aspect of the business,” Sivakumar Harihariyer, SVP and Head of Americas at Manthan, said in a statement.
Manthan said that it will work with KFC in its entire spectrum of requirements, which includes inventory, operations, e-commerce, guest experiences, customer invoicing, marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), as well as audit and compliance and associate training.
Harihariyer added that Manthan looked to innovate with analytics and increase artificial intelligence adoption within KFC to direct the restaurant chain in its analytics maturity curve.
