Automation Anywhere offers RPA platform on Amazon Web Services in India
San Jose, California-based robotic process automation (RPA) solutions provider Automation Anywhere has collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in India to offer its cloud native digital workplace platform to enterprises.
The Enterprise A2019 platform, which combines RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics, can be deployed on public, private or hybrid cloud environments, a statement said.
“With the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses began scaling up their digital transformation efforts. We felt a sudden uptick in demand and interest from our customers for a rapidly scalable infrastructure on cloud,” Milan Sheth, executive vice president for the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region at Automation Anywhere, said.
The platform, available in 10 languages, was designed using java-based microservices architecture, which is expected to help customers cut ownership costs, and provide better performance and scalability.

The platform, since its launch in October 2019, has garnered over 2,00,000 users, with the numbers increasing exponentially during the Covid-19 lockdown, it said.
Solutions that were developed using the platform include an airlines application that was able to reduce cancellation processing time for refunds from 20 minutes to three minutes and one that expedited loan processing service for a large bank from three weeks to three days, the company said. A public service dashboard for the Chinese special administrative region of Macau was also created with the solution, it added.
