Watch: Aeris Communications’ Rishi Bhatnagar on how Covid-19 will accelerate IoT adoption

In an interview with TechCircle, Rishi Bhatnagar, president, Aeris Communications (India), spoke about remote working and how the pandemic will shape technology adoption across industries.
"Boards (decision-makers) will now be forced to implement emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT). There won't be a pilot or a proof of concept anymore. But the companies will be forced to get this kind of technology implemented,” he said.
Bhatnagar leads Aeris’ business in the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. He is also the chairperson of the Institution of Engineering and Technology - IoT panel for India.
In addition, he is a member of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) smart cities task force. The IT lobby body’s unit represents and sets the tone for public policy for the Indian software industry and smart cities.
