NTT elevates Kiran Bhagwanani to senior vice president GTM for Asia Pacific
London headquartered global technology services provider NTT has elevated its India business chief executive officer (CEO) Kiran Bhagwanani as the new senior vice president, GTM, for the Asia Pacific region.
The appointment aims to strengthen the regional leadership team and leverage the growth opportunities available in the Asia Pacific, NTT said.
Bhagwanani will lead the newly formed go-to-market business and will broadly be accountable for sales performance, solution practices and alliance partnership across the Asia Pacific.
In addition, Bhagwanani will continue to spearhead India business for at least the current financial year, with the support of a new chief executive officer in India reporting to him.
Bhagwanani was appointed as the CEO for NTT’s South Asia (including India) operations in Oct 2019, following the integration of 31 companies and brands from over 57 countries under the NTT Ltd. umbrella in July. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese telecom major, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone.
He has been the CEO of the India entity since February 2011.
In India, the company’s team size has grown from 1,100 in 2011 to 6,500 people in 2019.
