FarmERP to digitise agribusiness operations for Phoenix Group, Goda Farms
Pune-based smart agriculture management enterprise resource planning software platform FarmERP has inked partnerships with two agriculture-focussed companies — Phoenix Group and Goda Farms — to digitise their operations.
FarmERP platform will act as technical support provider for sustainability and traceability projects of Dubai-headquartered Phoenix Group. It will digitise all of Phoenix Group’s farming business operations across different countries.
The partnership will help Phoenix Group to mitigate climate risks and work towards climate resilience using technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning, the company said in a statement.
Owned by Pune-based Shivrai Technologies, FarmERP has also announced a partnership with Hingoli, Maharashtra-based Farmer Producer Company (FPC),Goda Farms to digitise their operations to help the company increase proficiency and productivity of farmers.
An FPC model works as a hybrid between a private limited company and a cooperative society where farmers are shareholders. The company works towards the welfare of farmers by linking them directly to the market.
As of today, Goda Farms works with a 12,000 associated farmer base.
“In today’s scenario, it is extremely necessary to convey productivity in the best form for the farmers in our country to learn, adapt and allow themselves to become accustomed to the new-age digital world of agriculture,” FarmERP said in a statement.
The ERP platform will enable Goda Farms to increase operational efficiency, optimise resources and increase profitability by using artificial intelligence and machine learning, the statement added.
Founded in the year 2006, FarmERP's solution is used for farm, farmer, procurement, processing, supply chain and financial data management and analysis.
