KPMG acquihires SAP consulting firm Shivansh Solutions in first acquisition of 2020

The Indian wing of global accounting giant KPMG has announced that it will acquihire Shivansh Solutions, a New Delhi based SAP consulting and implementation services provider for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the deal, KPMG will acquire the company’s directors, core team of SAP consultants as well as the software products and IP (intellectual property) rights.

The Amstelveen, Netherlands company said that the acquihire will help augment its Indian technology implementation practice.

“The acquihire will help us unlock the value of efficient implementation and cloud transformation for our spectrum of clients and their varied business needs that we address on a daily basis,” Mandar Joshi, Partner and Head- Technology Implementation Practice, KPMG India, said.

The acquihire will strengthen the accounting giant’s SAP solutions portfolio, especially the custom technology solutions that Shivansh has built on SAP's cloud platform. With the latest buy,  KPMG looks to leverage Shivansh's offerings around SAP S4 HANA, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP analytics.

S4 Hana is SAP’s main enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution offering while SAP SuccessFactors works towards human capital management.

This is the first acquisition by KPMG in 2020. It had previously bought Recommender Labs in June and Love Agency in May 2019.

Mumbai based Recommender Labs is an artificial intelligence (AI)-led decision-science services company. 

Sydney- headquartered Love Agency was picked up by the Australian wing of KPMG for its UX (user experience), web and mobile development consultancy practices. The value of both the deals was not disclosed.

Established in 2011, Shivansh’s offerings include supplier network platform for real-time information of processes, a dealer distribution platform and lead management solutions. Other products include a supply chain visibility tool and transport automation tool.
