LTTS elevates Amit Chadha to role of deputy CEO and whole-time director
Vadodara-based information technology (IT) engineering services firm L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has appointed Amit Chadha as its deputy CEO and whole-time director. He will take over the role from April 1.
Chadha is currently its president of sales and business development, it said in a statement.
LTTS, part of Mumbai-based engineering conglomerate Larsen and Toubro group, said the move, part of the company’s succession planning, was based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee.
Chadha, who is based in Washington DC, has been on the board of LTTS since 2015, the company said. He is also part of the management team that provides business leadership, market direction and strategic vision to the company, it added.
In his current role, Chadha will help global research and development customers as well as Fortune 500 companies that leverage LTTS digital engineering offerings for their product development initiatives.
He joined the company in 2009, and headed its business in North America and Asia earlier.
In Chadha’s two-decade career, he has spent close to a decade with IT services firm Mahindra Satyam, where he managed profit and loss accounts for multiple business units, and led organisation-wide strategic initiatives, business development and relationship management activities, LTTS said in the statement.
Earlier this week, LTTS signed a multi-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur to collaborate on research in industrial and infrastructure cybersecurity.
Last month, the engineering services company partnered with Swedish mobile living products and solutions provider Dometic to support the latter’s mechanical, embedded and connectivity solutions. It set up a dedicated global engineering centre in Chennai.
