DXC Technology appoints Vinod Bagal as global delivery head
Virginia based information technology company DXC Technology has appointed Vinod Bagal as the head of the company’s global delivery function.
Bagal is also the executive vice president of the company’s global transformation segment. He was named the delivery head after David Samson recently stepped down from the role.
A veteran in the technology industry, Bagal has spent 25 years with companies such as Cognizant and Accenture.
In his new role, Bagal will strengthen the company’s end-to-end delivery function. He will continue to report to company president and CEO Mike Salvino.
“I want to thank Samson for his leadership and his formative work in standing up DXC’s Delivery organization. Going forward, I am excited to work closely with the team to take DXC’s Delivery performance to the next level,” the newly appointed Bagal said.
Bagal has worked across the consulting and technology services industry, including technology consulting, systems integration, application outsourcing, infrastructure and business process services.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Mysore University and a Master of Science degree in engineering management from The George Washington University.
DXC Technology has a facility in Bengaluru for data analytics migration for Microsoft Azure's cloud computing customers.
Recently, the company was looking to hire as many as 10,000 people with digital skills in order to make for delays in delivering on digital contracts.
