L&T Technology Services wins avionics contract from Airbus
Engineering major L&T Technology Services (LTTS) will now manage Airbus India’s avionics software development and validation.
The Gujarat-based technology firm’s share price jumped 1.8% in the morning trade on December 2 after winning the contract from Airbus. The stock was quoting at Rs 1,511.95, up Rs 24.30, or 1.63%, on the BSE at 13:27 hours. The company did not disclose the financial details of the deal.
“We are pleased that Airbus India has chosen LTTS to deliver on all these aspects. We look forward to co-developing innovations in the aviation space and ushering in newer benchmarks of industry excellence,” said Abhishek Sinha, chief operating officer and member of the board at L&T Technology Services.
LTTS provides its services in the aerospace landscape, including ITAR (international traffic in arms) Compliance and CEMILAC (The centre for military airworthiness and certification) certified state-of-art facilities.
L&T Technology Services is a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited focused on engineering and research and development. It directly competes with Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, and Cognizant.
