Infosys launches GRC digital suite for MetricStream cloud
Bengaluru-based information technology services firm Infosys has launched an AI (artificial intelligence) and ML (machine learning) based digital application suite for governance, risk and compliance (GRC) on MetricStream Cloud.
MetricStream is one of the leading providers of software products for GRC.
According to Infosys, the suite provides a conversational or chatbot interface and robotic process automation (RPA)- enabled controls testing for MetricStream cloud platform ensuring that real-time continuous testing is possible while using latter's GRC products.
The suite developed by Infosys is a plug-and-play service that can be seamlessly integrated with MetricStream cloud leveraging the application programming interface (API) available on MetricStream platform, according to a statement.
The AI and ML capabilities of the chatbot have been aided by natural language processing (NLP) that allows first-line users to report and track observations and clarify their queries around GRC functionalities and business processes, Infosys said.
"This function, supported by speech interface across multiple channels, is seamlessly integrated with MetricStream to deliver ease of use and good customer experience. Our RPA powered bots ensure end-to-end testing of controls, share evidence, update testing reports, and attain complete assurance with minimal cost impact," Infosys said in the media statement.
The suite developed in collaboration with MetricStream will further strengthen the clients’ GRC function, Infosys said.
Early this week, Infosys had announced its partnership with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft's cloud cybersecurity platform, to deliver better threat detection and response capabilities to its enterprise clients.
Last week, the country's second-largest software exporter had partnered with London-based WM Promus to develop and deliver innovative automation solutions across multiple industries.
