Chatbot company CoRover wins Birlasoft’s Xccelerate4Startups contest
CoRover, a cognitive chatbot company, has won the first edition of startup contest Xccelerate4Startups, which was organised by Pune-based information technology services management company Birlasoft.
The Xccelerate4Startups focuses on discovering and partnering with innovative start-ups and enabling them to take their new-age digital skills for delivering enhanced business value to Birlasoft's global customers, Birlasoft said in a statement.
CoRover, which owns and operates Corover.mobi, was founded in 2016 by Ankush Sabharwal. The software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based platform connects travelers with each other and with administrative staff, curated vendors, emergency responders and other services providers.
Hyderabad-based smart and real-time condition monitoring platform Minto Softech was awarded as the runner-up of the event.
The company said that over 40 startups participated in the contest, out of which six were chosen to present their ideas at the grand finale of Xccelerate4Startups. The chosen ones were evaluated based on innovation quotient, business impact, uniqueness, relevance to market, and maturity of their solution.
