WM Promus, Infosys’ subsidiary EdgeVerve partner to drive automation across industries

London-based software service provider WM Promus has partnered with EdgeVerve Systems, a subsidiary of IT giant Infosys, to develop and deliver innovative automation solutions.

The partnership will help enterprises across industries like airlines, financial services, manufacturing, and retail to improve enterprise-wide productivity and efficiency.  

“WM Promus has consistently delivered high quality consultancy services, processes, and software tools to support customers’ business functions. Through partnership with EdgeVerve, we will be able to expand our automation capabilities and offer agile scalable solutions to reduce operational costs and increase efficiency,” said Paul Walker, Director, WM Promus, according to a statement. 

The automation platform AssistEdge, developed  by Bengaluru-based EdgeVerve, is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.

AssistEdge enables businesses to adapt to market challenges that demand scalability, security, intelligence and innovation, the company said.

Enterprises are looking at technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) and business process management (BPM) to increase productivity and reduce operational costs. EdgeVerve had recently rolled out AssistEdge RPA 18.0, which it said will unify the human-digital workforce.
