For more than a decade, angel investors, who take the highest risk as investors in startups, have been the bedrock for the ongoing entrepreneurial wave in India.

In the concluding session of TechCircle LIVE in Delhi, some of India’s most prolific angel investors drew attention to key structural changes that are sweeping India’s angel investing market.

The panel, dubbed March of the Angels, consisted of Sanjay Mehta, founding partner at Mumbai-based 100X.VC; Vikas Kuthiala, mentor and angel investor; Sunil Kalra, venture partner at Stride Ventures; and Girish Shivani, executive director and fund manager, YourNest. 

The panel was moderated by Sahaj Kumar, senior research manager, Mosaic Digital.

The panel discussed the challenges angel investor face, the exit environment, why superangels are moving away from traditional angel networks and how the Indian angel ecosystem looks compated to other countries.
