Sauce.vc, Rainforest invest in men’s wellness platform misters.in
HealthFactorial Solutions, a Gurugram-based company that owns wellness platform misters.in, has raised $0.48 million in a Series B round from private investment firm Sauce.vc, Rainforest Venture Network and undisclosed angel investors.
The latest round takes the total capital raised by the startup to $1 million so far, it said in a statement. In August, it had raised $0.35 mn in a Series A round from undisclosed angel investors.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its product offerings with a focus on science and sensitivity to establish a presence in the men’s health and wellness space. It also plans to expand its geographical presence reach by offering interfaces in Hindi and English.
“The first few months of HealthFactorial have been amazing with a strong team coming together, lots of super-exciting research happening and, most importantly, a nuanced consumer thesis has emerged,” co-founder Suhas Misra said.
Mishra founded the company in 2018 with Gaurav Gupta and Saurabh Kumar. Misra earlier co-founded beverage startup Paper Boat and marketing company ChannelPlay. Gupta was founder of edtech startup bookbhook, and Kumar worked at Berger Paints, ICICI Bank and Reliance Money.
“With a very highly specialized and experienced team along with a set of advisors, misters.in is placed well to create relevant proprietary products and market them in an intelligent manner, driven by a strong technology architecture," said Manu Chandra, founder and managing partner of Sauce.vc.
In October, Sauce.vc invested $500,000 in Onesto Labs, which owns haircare platform Bare Anatomy. It also has investments in nutritional food product firm &Me and online clothing startup XYXX Apparels.
