Infogain acquires digital consultancy Revel
Silicon Valley-headquartered information technology services firm Infogain Corporation, which also has operations in India, has acquired Seattle-based digital consultancy firm Revel Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
With the deal, Infogain looks to rope in Revel’s digital marketing, experience and commerce expertise, said its chief executive, Sunil Bhatia, said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The acquisition expands Infogain’s capabilities to deliver digital transformation services and reinforces our position as a leading digital innovator in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem,” Bhatia added.
Revel will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infogain and continue to operate as an independent brand.
Revel is the ChrysCapital-backed company’s second acquisition this month. Early October, it acquired Houston-based software firm Silicus Technologies in a bid to scale its cloud and internet of things (IoT) offerings.
Infogain has offices in California, Washington, Texas, London, Dubai, India and Singapore with delivery centres in Austin, New Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, and Mumbai.
In May, it also signed a deal to provide robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to a Japanese consumer products company to set up an RPA centre of excellence and automate certain business processes.
