Mindtree opens European HQ in London

Bengaluru-based information technology services provider Mindtree has opened its new European headquarters in London. 

The new office will include the Digital Pumpkin innovation hub, the first in Europe, which will help its clients discover and design their digital transformation, the company said in a statement.

“Our new headquarters and Digital Pumpkin innovation hub enables us to help our European customers thrive in the digital age by accessing the latest design thinking principles and experimentation with cutting-edge technologies,” said Guita Blake, senior vice president and head, global sales and Europe, Mindtree. 

The Digital Pumpkin innovation was rolled out in 2013 across India, and its US-based operations took off in 2017. The innovation hub flips digital ideas to real-world solutions that can be implemented across organisations, the statement said.

It offers customers new solutions and is designed with new-age technologies like the internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive solutions, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), machine learning (ML), conversational platforms, cloud and Big Data. 

Since the launch, the innovation hubs have helped more than 100 strategic digital transformation engagements.

“The new office will provide the platform to further elevate our digital capabilities whilst maintaining our unique culture so we can continue to help customers create new possibilities for competitive advantage,” Blake said.

Earlier in the week, Mindtree had rolled out merchant onboarding solution for acquirer banks and payments service providers. 

The company also unveiled InnoApp for Kubernetes, a solution for faster deployment of cloud applications on Microsoft Azure.

Last week, a study conducted by Mindtree had revealed that enterprises lack the understanding to successfully apply AI solutions.
