Pawan Munjal, chairman of Hero MotoCorp, may invest in Ola Electric Mobility, a unit of cab-hailing major Ola, Mint reported.
Softbank-backed Ola Electric has raised money from several investors, including Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, Tiger Global and Matrix Partners India, the report said.
Last month, it had raised $250 million from Japan-based investment giant SoftBank.
TikTok asks Sharechat to remove videos
Social media video application TikTok, owned by Beijing, China-based ByteDance Technology, has sent a notice to social networking and regional content platform Sharechat to remove TikTok videos uploaded by its users, The Economic Times reported.
The company said it has exclusive rights over the content, the report said.
The TikTok videos have been posted on YouTube as well as Facebook. It is not clear whether the two platforms have received notices or not, the report said.
Dose FM raises seed funding
Bengaluru-based audio streaming platform Dose FM has raised seed funding from several investors including Utsav Somani and Abhishek Madhavan, according to a report by Inc42.
Dose FM is a free audio app where one can listen to the latest and interesting stories from around the world in short clips.
The money will be used towards the growth of the platform, the report said. Dose FM claims to have more than 30,000 active listeners and 10,000 creators.
The company was founded in 2017 by Abhishek Damodara, Akhil Appanna and Rishabh Harit.
