ServiceNow appoints former Microsoft exec to head operations in India, South Asia
California-based cloud computing company ServiceNow has appointed Arun Balasubramanian as managing director - India and South Asia.
“With immense opportunities in India, ServiceNow’s business has grown rapidly, with a growing customer base. It will be exciting to focus on strengthening the company’s portfolio and expanding its presence at a rapid pace,” Balasubramanian said.
Balasubramanian earlier led the operations in India and South Asia for Pennsylvania-based software company Qlik for over a year. Previously, he served as director of Microsoft’s cloud and enterprise business. The XLRI alumni also oversaw sales operations in various capacities at Salesforce and Computer Associates.
“Arun’s leadership and proven track record of delivering customer success and outstanding business outcomes will help our customers create great experiences and accelerate their transformation journeys,” Mitch Young, senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Japan, ServiceNow, said.
Earlier this month, ServiceNow broadened its partnership with Microsoft by announcing that it will run its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering on the Azure cloud computing service. The partnership was first announced in December.
