Advait Suhas Pandit on online pharmacy Netmeds’ full-stack value proposition
Online pharmacy Netmeds, owned by Chennai-based Netmeds Marketplace, wants to become a full-stack medical services provider from generics to personal care to infant care products.
Founded in 2010, acquisitions have been an important part of the company’s strategy so far for building out the full-stack platform. Its most recent acquisition was in March this year when it bought KiviHealth in a cash-and-stock transaction. The acquisition gave Netmeds access to KiviHealth’s AI (artificial intelligence) based prescription management technology which can be used as a predictive analysis tool by doctors and healthcare professionals.
Advait Suhas Pandit, the company’s director of technology, spoke to TechCircle about how frontier technologies are enabling the company to cater to customers needs on multiple fronts.
