Jobs portal Shine.com hires Madhukar Kumar as analytics chief

Shine.com, an online recruitment platform operated by HT Media Ltd, today announced the appointment of Madhukar Kumar as its chief analytics officer. The appointment is part of the platform’s plans to build its data science team and leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve user experience, the company said in a statement.

Kumar as over 13 years of experience across data sciences, predictive analytics, AI, ML, deep learning and consulting domains, the statement said. 

 He has held the positions of chief data scientist at WNS Global Services, director of data sciences at UpGrad.com and led the risk analytics team at General Electric Money. 

While building Shine.com’s data science team, Kumar will focus on AI, deep learning, ML, text analytics and speech analytics. 

“I will be working on building the data science team to leverage Shine.com’s rich repository of candidate and recruiter data,” said Kumar. “By using this data, we can accelerate the growth of Shine.com further and deliver a more enriching experience to all our stakeholders,” he added.
