TeamViewer bakes online meeting into Zoho

German business software maker TeamViewer has said that it has integrated its meeting tools with Zoho Corp.’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

“This will allow sales teams to have productive online meetings that are enhanced by the added context gained from Zoho CRM's multichannel sales enablement platform," said Anand Nergunam, vice-president of revenue acceleration at Zoho.

“Integrating TeamViewer meeting functionality with Zoho CRM will help companies improve employee productivity and increase revenue,” said Alfredo Patron, executive vice-president of business development at TeamViewer. 

The tools are available on the Zoho Marketplace, which is built on a cloud-based platform for integrating online meeting applications with Zoho CRM.

Further, the meeting facility was built on ZohoMeetingBridge platform, which enables online meeting solution vendors to integrate their applications with Zoho CRM.

ZohoMeetingBridge is a free-to-use integration platform, where online meeting solution vendors can build extensions and promote them directly to Zoho CRM users worldwide through the Zoho Marketplace.

TeamViewer had earlier tied up with Zoho to provide remote connectivity from within Zoho Desk and Zoho CRM.

Last month, Germany-based TeamViewer had joined hands with Sophos to offer information technology (IT) administrators a solution for initiating remote troubleshooting sessions from within the endpoint management firm’s mobile platform.

In April, the company had built a new starter kit, which it claims will help customers implement Internet of Things (IoT) applications faster.
